Training the professionals |
| About the Course |
| Nationwide 4x4 Ltd. is a leading training organisation of 4x4 off-road driving. In recognition of the need for staff in various organisations, particularly the emergency services and the utilities to undertake 4x4 training, a special course has been developed with Lantra National Training Organisations Ltd. (formally ATB Landbase). Based on the Lantra Instructor Assessment Courses, the course will give potential instructors the knowledge, skills and techniques to train their own staff in Health & Safety issues relating to the driving of 4x4 vehicles off-road. |
| For those who are successful, Lantra will issue a certificate allowing them to train drivers within their own organisation. A successful student instructor could in the future undergo an additional assessment to be registered as a Lantra Instructor. |
| The Course |
| The course has been split into two parts, each of two days.
